"Those five days have made a difference in my life. Before coming to this camp I didn’t know any Sankrit at all. Samskrita Bharathi was able to use techniques to capture us and make us learn Sanskrit. These counselors did not use regular methods where we read out of a book and do homework. They used conversational skills that involved you in the lessons and made sure you understood what was being taught. Other than lessons, they involved us in language games as well as outdoor games. We were given enough free time to bond with other kids and develop strong friendships. One suggestion is have a later curfew. Since we are youth, this is the time for us to develop good friendships. And the best time is when we don’t have lessons next so we don’t have to spend our time practicing for the entertainment program, but instead use it for bonding. Other than that, I know I made great friends and that I hope to be seeing them again. Thanks for the great experience"

"The Shraddha Shibhiram was a great experience. The teaching style was amazing and very productive. The younger teachers were easier to relate to and it made the experience an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The camp in general was extremely fun filled and included lots of close friends. Overall the layout of the camp was organized and effective. Some suggestions include the better organization of the games and a later curfew. Also, making the camp 7 days would have been better. ?

"I thought the camp was good and it had a good concept behind it. I liked the peer-to-peer teaching style. The teachers were awesome ? . I liked learning listening to others speak. However, I feel we should have a review session at the end of everyday so that we don’t forget what we learned in that day. Also I think that we should have game time which is more intense. Also I think wake-up call should happen with the help of music. The camp can also be longer. I loved the treasure hunt. Make it harder next year. Also we should have a curfew around midnight, try and trust us with it. Thanks to all the teachers for taking time off work and doing this for all the participants, props!"
